well...i don't know if those fins are gonna reduce your energy savings by 40% as claimed. and if it does i don't know what the payback period is to recoup $85 cost (thats a lotta alcohol!).
but i do know one thing. the water in that pot is gonna boil a lot quicker if they put a lid on it.

I wonder if any fluted pan would work in a similar way? I've only seen them for bundt cakes or tarts though.Lost in the right direction.

The more surface area exposed to the heat source the faster it will heat...in any container.I may grow old but I'll never grow up. -
