Thanks. Yes, you can just set it down. Take a look at Klauss' video.

Clever idea! As nice as it is, I like the VW bus at the Klaussinator site better . My wife and I have a '71.
Nice. There is something about the old VW vans that is alluring. -

makes want to go hiking and try that muffin making idea. i wonder if i could make a giant chocolate cookie that way?
I think we'll have to get Kevin to schedule a class.
Maybe someplace in his home turf, the Catskills, this fall -

Sure, but one caveat: my hiking time is going to be limited, because I'm doing a big (for me) trip starting in just under four weeks. (I'm sure you all know about it: SOBO thru hike of the Northville-Placid trail.)
But once I'm back from that and have dealt with the inevitable pileup of crises at work, we can schedule. Maybe combine it with a bushwhack outing? Whacks get a lot easier once the leaves are down and the #*@%!~& nettles have died back. One of my buddies recommends Doubletop, Big Indian and Fir Mountain, starting from either Seager or Biscuit Brook. Doubletop is supposed to have nice views. The other two, not so much, but I need them for the 3500's. (Getting close... I can count the ones I haven't done without taking off my boots.)I'm not lost. I know where I am. I'm right here. -

Doesn't the ground work on the ground?Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Tell us again what we'll need to put in the pot (gear and food) so we can be ready when you are.
