Yesterday morning instead of my normal routine of stretching and walking 3 to 6 miles, I went straight into work. While sitting at my desk my hamstring started to hurt some. So most of the day I just limped around on it. Then in afternoon when walking back from a meeting across campus, due to the sudden extreme pain I had to sit down. Someone got me some crutches and I was to hobble back to my office where I gathered my office backpack and had my wife pick me up and take me to the urgent care clinic.
Stayed on the couch most of today and slept a lot between icing. Will sit in chair when teaching my three classes tommorow. Physical therapy starts Monday.
Big downer is my wife is going to Houston Quilt Show and I was planning to hit the Ozark Highland Trail. Now I guess I will not miss any of Astro World Series games and will try to catch on posting some of my trail reports.
