Article from the Trek about a gear list for "older hikers". I know that is a relative term, but they went with 50+, which I believe covers a lot of the regulars at the Cafe. Now the list is for the author's Mom so the guys may not be able to relate as much to exact clothing, but I thought the discussion about factoring in comfort was interesting. I personally just took on a few extra ounces for a one person Big Agnes Tiger Wall over anothe Fly Creek with the side entry door being the biggest difference. Also appreciated the first guy's comment.
