At an early age I had a friend die from drug use and I swore to myself I'd never get involved.
Of course I was a bit of a hypocrite as it wasn't uncommon for me to drive drunk as a youth.
Now I have old age as an excuse for not remembering... -

Me and a friend were this close >< to going to Woodstock. He even had tickets.
Once the radio was reporting what was going on there I decided against it.
The friend went and once he got home and sobered up he claims he couldn't remember what he did there. -
