I didn't know it at the time, but I started a round trip to the moon back in 2002 when I bought my current car. Every time I take it in for service they tell me it's time to start thing about a new car. And I reply by telling them that I've got enough miles on the car that I've been to the moon and now I'm on the return trip home, just get me home and then I'll buy a new car. With 386,000+ miles on the odometer I figure I need another 96,000 in round numbers.
Of course if I make it to that 480,000 I'll be tempted to try for half a million
