This kind of thing is why the National Forests are charging $16 a night to camp, with campground hosts to collect. Lots of Walmarts out west have stopped allowing overnight camping, you must ask the manager before assuming you can stay. I paid as much as $45 to camp in my little minivan on a trip thru the western National Parks this past summer.

Good for her, I have no problem with this. She needs to work on her blogging style though, be more concise.

30 somethin' years ago that very thing happen to my brother in-law on his way up to Alaska in their Winnabago...$1500 bucks later, luckily my Pop was on the Weat coast and able to help em out.

Yes I have noticed this too... large signs appear in the front of the parking lot.

ah some - I am starting to see required permits here in Pa one appears roughly across the street from Port Clinton... many of the lands around here are fenced off, preventing what we are talking about, even when I check them out with a special map.Be wise enough to walk away from the nonsense around you!
