far from it.when i got up it was close to freezing, so i just made myself a mocha frappe, with nido, nescafe french roast and landolakes cocoa, then got moving to warm up. i got to the top of big bald around 10am,looked around me at mtns everywhere, and actually said aloud"this looks like a perfectly good spot for a good cup of coffee."sat down,pulled out my stove, and brewed a cup.sat around with pepe,and a few minutes later, medicine man showed up.i was high,not tired,just lovin life.did 18 miles that day.WiseOldOwl wrote:

A lot of my hikes are in the southern Catskills, and that tune always starts going through my head when I get a view over the Ashokan valley. Jay Ungar and Molly Mason are locals.
