i saw dreamcoat years ago at (probably) the fox theater. donny osmond wasn't in it though, i would have remembered that.
and of course we all remember when kramer borrowed the dreamcoat on seinfeld:

Never cared much for musical theatre, but Phantom of the Opera struck a note with me. Attended performances in London, New York City, as well as other locales.

Was never really a "musicals" kind of guy, but my wife introduced me to some things that weren't too bad. Les Misérables was one. Wicked was another. The original version of Rent was far better than I would've expected. And, God help me, if you've never seen Avenue Q - then don't. Once you see Avenue Q, there's just no going back (those who've seen it know exactly what I mean!)*

Saw Phantom in Toronto surrounded by about 100 7th graders. I was one of about 20 chaperones. Even so, that performance was really VERY good, much better than when I saw it in Detroit.

Never took much of a shine to musicals. But there's a pretty hilarious rendering of "I have a Little List" from the Mikado, by Groucho Marx. Can't seem to find the video at the moment, so here's another good modern version.

The only two musicals I've liked were "The Little House of Horrors" and "Grease".I may grow old but I'll never grow up.
