MONEY’s Best Places to Live in America

The 3 from Connecticut are very nice towns. All good school systems. Simsbury has a bear problem. And you had best make more than 100G to live in any of them.

I eat and go to the package store in Woodbury, when I work in Harriman. I tried to go to that mall once to kill time. My time was killed just looking for parking!

I can't believe Woodbury made that list. The outlets make getting around town there unbearable. Especially on weekends and holidays. It isn't much of a town either. I guess geographically it's situated in a desirable spot. Close to NYC and upstate. But with the massive amounts of retail strip malls they're building and the expansion of the outlets coupled with houses going up everywhere and the proximity and encroachment of Kiryas Joel, it would probably be last on my list of places to live I avoid the area as much as I can, specifically on weekends.
I will give them kudos on the schools though. The Monroe-Woodbury school district is one of the finest in the state.RIAP -
These lists are usually garbage. Southport North Carolina was voted the happiest seaside town. There are no good jobs, fairy high crime and the town itself is boring as hell.
