Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them. -

i just discovered these guys. not the type of music i generally listen to, but no denying that they are talented. every song is done in a different location. and they even do one by taylor! i think the guy on the chello has a mr. bean vibe, but i haven't seen him do anything funny yet. love mr. bean!
here's one done at the new hawk mountain campsites; hopefully the entertainment will encourage thruhikers to camp there rather than at the shelter. that may or not be true.
and another in a winter setting for contrast. and becasue grinder loves the song.

I am no good at posting youtube etc in here on my SAP but just posted a cover of Sound of Silence on my FB page. By Disturbed. I don't think that they are my kind of band normally but it's a great cover.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait.

I normally find my musical preferences are for songs sung by the composer as they usually get the emotion "right". This is an exception. Another that breaks that mold for me is the first 2 Meatloaf albums. He had the voice to get the most out of Jim Steinman's music.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait.

this link has 30 second clips from each song. there's a reason steinman wrote and meatloaf sang.

I have that Steinman album. He wrote a big hit for Celine Dion as well I think.
I have always said that if you're driving a car and Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell comes on and you're not speeding at the end of it, you have no rock and roll in your soul.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait. -
