The last few years I have gone stove less. On my next hike I was thinking of changing up my menu a little bit.
For the first night I was thinking of making hamburgers over the fire.
The second or third night I was thinking of having hotdogs over the fire. Not the cheap ones though. Can't stand Em. Nathan's are pretty good.
If I freeze the hotdogs before the trip Im figuring they would still be cold on the third night if wrapped in a paper bag?
I figure though if they got warm by the second night I could always eat them then. This is a practice try before I try a frozen steak wrapped in a paperbag for the third night.
What do y'all think?
