There is some beautiful scenery along the high plains. It is not all boring flat areas. Sound astounding rock formations and even canyons abound.

The Mrs. and I are off to the Bad Lands over Memorial day. Here's a small selection of high plains areas. Some of them are on the proposed route.

The Bad Lands is really neat. Made me feel like I was on the moon or another planet, or something like that.

I wonder if this trail will go through tribal land. I pulled up a few maps and it looks like it won't.
