Do not put a fly on. Just put a 6' leader on. You are not casting the fly, you are casting the line. The fly follows a good cast. When you follow thru stop the rod at 10 o'clock, and let the line unfurl. Did you find that video yet.......Lefty Cray.........he really makes sense of the cast so you can figure it out.

Bought a new pack
PostQuote from IMScotty: “I just took a look, and they still make plenty of Kelty External Frame packs. I got rid of mine years ago, but I think what I had was a Tioga. Trail crews
PostOur crew only did a few small projects and just 3 guyz tops. My Town Land trust has had only those zoom meetings, which I do not. We moved to town in the summer, in the late fall I joined the Land Trust and gave them my resume.......they gave me a trail! I only have worked on it so far. When it warms up I need to borrow a few tools from my NY crew and recruit a few locals to make a watercrossing. I'm sure these masks will be fine.

I got my snow shoes last year, a bag for them, ordered. I did get the 450 Bear can there, as I wanted to hold it and inspect it. I got a new pair of Keen Targee IIIs, cause I aint buying shoes on…

Quote from roadrunner: “Some seriously cold weather, but luckily we're not getting any of it here in Jacksonville, Fl.; it's all about the Jet Stream, I've come to realize, as long as it doesn't dip down here our weather is just fine. If it does dip down here, it's always associated with a bitter cold northwest wind. I've started seeing robins showing up here, which means that the worst of the winter is over... for this area; we'll see if that holds true for this year. I've started my warm-weath…
