    Today I walked to the top of a ridge where an old barn sits. I fed some chickens, a sheep dog, and set two mouse traps... The leaves were crunching under foot the whole way

    My Dear Mother (75y/o) still prepares cornbread in a blk iron skillet passed down from her Mother, talk about seasoned... To my knowledge, nothing but cornbread has ever been prepared in it. Thats one old skillet and a heck of a lot of breaking bread over the years.
