I hike with a Kelty Trekker 3950. I got a thing for the external frame. If I did more bushwhacking, I might be tempted to get an internal frame pack, but I don't do a lot of that. I do have a Kelty Redwing 44 as a smaller bag, I use it on the motorcycle.
