    My suggestion would be to do Damascus, VA to Massie Gap/Grayson Highlands State Park. It's about 32 miles. Then contact Lone Wolf for a shuttle. You could either park in Damascus, hike to Grayson Highlands then get a shuttle back or park at Grayson…

    Someday I would like to hike the Appalachian High Route and get both in the same 330 mile hike. Links AT with MST in a loop. thetrek.co/trail-profile-the-appalachian-high-route/

    My Companion agrees with Wiki. ETA: And so does my Data Book and the ATC Trail Guide to NC and Tenn. So the correct answer to the question should be "None of the Above"
