What's your favorite power bar?

Stopped by REI to pick up a cylinder of gas and walked around to see whats new.. For those that hike no-cook this stood out. I got the Hammer Cranberry and wow its not gorp. Appears to stay soft in the cold and tastes good. 1.76 oz per bar and about 220 calories.

PowerBar Performance Energy Bar, Chocolate Peanut Butter

I don't really like chocolate, but the milk chocolate blended with PB here works for me.

i like the occasional clif bar, but im now hooked on belvita banana bread breakfast biscuits

theyre tasty and tough to get tired of.keeping them intact on the trail however is a bit of a challenge

My daughter eats those Belvitas for breakfast in the traffic.
I don't eat any power bars. Yet to find one that tastes significantly better than a hay bale.

I like both the Cliff Mojo-type granola bar types, and the Larabar type fruit/nut bars. I've made both at home and have recipes I like. I also carry granola and Nido for summer breakfast.

In Dec 2011 I was preparing for the AT. Cliff Bars ran a "12 days of Cliffmas" contest on twitter. Every day they'd ask folks to tweet the answer to some question or task, using the Cliffmas hashtag. The winner would get a box of cliff bars! I did it every day, and didn't win a damn thing .... A few weeks later I got an email telling me I was the grand weenner, and would get a year's supply of cliff bars, mojo bars, power bars ... Whatever I wanted. I put em in drop boxes, ate them all summer. I still have some long past their best by date ...

These here aren't too bad but a whole one will blow up inside you and make you feel like you ate a brick. I eat half bars at a time that way my stomach doesn't feel like it's got a giant knot in it.

I like the power bar fruit squeezes. Bannana and blueberries is pretty good. These help to get down a power/cliff/larabar.

Im a Quaker chewy granola guy, and love peanut butter. I take a jar and just scoop out spoon fulls.
Snickers are great also. but I always seem to smash them.

I like to mix peanut butter with granola in my coffee cup for a mid-day snack!

I like Zone Perfect bars...packed with protein and doesn't raise your glucose levels.

Sweet and Salty cashew and Chocolate chip cookie dough are my favorite flavors.

Yea whats bugging you all? (attempt to be funny) folks I have 200+ plus crickets keeping now 5 snakes alive for release this spring. I wrangle snakes. Pick um up in basements and put them in my basement to release in the spring to keep them alive. Wait my son has video...gotta ask him to upload.

African Grasshoppers are considered survival food in the sahara. (they are huge about 6 inches) I have no knowledge of eating crickets. LINK
