I thought this was interesting . I live in NY and drive a Honda ... I was more surprised that Toyota dominates southern states .. But who woulda thunk that subarus in Connecticut???
Subarus kick ass in Consumer's Reports latest survey. Takes top vehicle in 3 of 10 classes:

My next car will likely be a Forester, just as long as they keep offering it in a manual. I wanted an outback, but they went to CVT only.Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

With more miles, and time, in a Subaru than most, I like my 02 Forester.
I recently drove a new one, while mine was being serviced, and didn't like it as much as mine.
In either case, I believe Subaru makes a good car.
If that makes me a lesbian, well, it's gonna be a surprise to my wife Kathy. -

Same here. Approaching 190,000 on my Baja. I did have to get the head gaskets replaced at 155,000; but the dealer rebated some money as did Subaru of America. It's the only thing that seems to happen to the older Subaru's. Other than that gasket, solidly engineered."Dazed and Confused"
