Good morning! I have done 8 section hikes, between Amicalola and Atkins, VA. As I was a teacher at that point, they were all in June. While walking amongst rhododendron and laurel, mostly at the end of their blooming, I frequently noticed large scatterings of what looked like little white teeth on the trail. I figured they likely had something to do with the plants but couldn't determine the connection. Anyone else see these, or know what they were?
