Too busy and a stll pretty warm for any weekend hikes on the Ozark Highland Trail, so last Saturday I went to Petit Jean State Park. Several different trails, but I usually do the 12 mile Boy Scout Trail. Named after Winthrop Rockefeller Jr who was the son of former Governor and great grandson of the legendary John Rockefeller of Standard Oil. Met him at some Boy Scout events, and he was ready to move from Lt Govenor until he had terminal cancer. Interesting side note is when he did not Governot, guy who house I walk by most mornings leapfrogged from Attorney General to Govenor.
Got a later start than intended so ended of varying things a little and did 10 miles. Around 6 trails altogether and easy to mix them together. Interesting old logs stacked at beginning perhaps for a group to sit on? With the recent flash floods I knew the water would be flowing.

The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.
