It just occurred to me that some of us have a long weekend coming up. Anyone interested in getting into the Catskills for a day trip or an overnight? (I need to have at least one day at home over the weekend, so more than an overnight won't work for me.)
I can be flexible about schedule. Pace will be leisurely, but Catskill trails are strenuous. Destination can be adjusted to suit the abilities and interests of participants.
Several people on the last hike expressed an interest in trying a bushwhack - and winter is the time to do that, there's a lot less brush to contend with. If we do that, snowshoes are very likely to be required, and microspikes are a must. (If conditions start getting close to needing crampons and ice axe, we switch to something easier.)

I'm not lost. I know where I am. I'm right here.
