I was thinking maybe this was something LIHikers had used before.
The single serving would concern me, unless you are planning some other supplemental food. When I am hiking I usually have no problem knocking out 2 to 2.5 servings of a single Mountain House package .The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

Thats why you have to look at the dry weight. The MH serving size is rediculously small.
