Yup never judge an owl by their cover... I have a granddaughter age 6 and my son and wife did not want to do this once or twice a month for personal reasons. I get it.. As a second generation Eagle Scout - Grandfather and me, and my son, I just volunteered to be a Daisy troop helper. To six or eight girls to motivate them to be body confidence and self esteem... as awkward as I am the first meeting with the mom's and two dad's went well. As Boy Scouts - the motivation is leadership training, Girl Scouts is clearly different. I am not sure how this will play out, but I have to hold back a little as I have way too much to offer (IE orienteering, camp-outs, hiking.... etc.) clearly back to youth child steps... and then for you to giggle at - the person in charge asked me to get a uniform... I had no idea Girls Scouts had Men's uniforms in 2xl.... OK have to step it up. Wait till I teach fuzz sticks and Wind matches... Girls need incendiary ideas. This is going to be fun... light that fire. Next week Chipoltle and Cooking.
Be wise enough to walk away from the nonsense around you!
