My beard is longer than my mane.
I visited Baxter Park on a bicycle today. It was flat and grassy. google.com/maps/place/Baxter+P…6a7515:0xc5557d325541ceee
I have been to Trail Days a few times, but this year I hope to be earning money instead. The post was edited 1 time, last by WanderingStovie ().

I may grow old but I'll never grow up. -
The big days are Friday and Saturday. Usually around 4-5 sat is when specialized gear venders start braking down. But I think it starts on Monday with town wide garage sales, somewhere in the town has a parade to crown a queen or something like that. I need to find a like for them. It'll show the day by day itinerary.

I think they have mfr reps at trail days. The BA rep was at something going on in Erwin Saturday and the temptation was strong as the BA FCUL3 took some damage in the winds Fri/Sat. However, the debate then began and is still continuing about whether to send it in for repairs or just return it to REI...
I'm leaning towards REI, but that would mean returning the separate unique groundsheet as well...
In return(see what I did there?), I would just get REI's latest BA version with groundsheet for....get this....$580, before tax. Only $150 more than when I bought it from REI 3 years ago...egads...that almost makes sending it in for repairs seem more economical... -

The price drops greatly if you are willing to carry more weight and do your own seam sealing.
