First thing I would have done is ask, 'Does this building use natural gas ?'.
Otherwise, just left the building after turning off burners, etc. Natural gas has an odor added to it. Eeesh.--

I once worked for a contractor who also owned some Wendy's. A lady in a pickup hit the accelerator instead of the brake when parking and plowed about 3 feet into the dining area. She got out of the truck and called the emergency number (which was us) that was on the entrance door from the pay phone in the parking lot to tell us that she had just driven into the store. Really? I might expect this out of Arby's employees, but the people at Burger King should know better.

remember maybe 10 years ago when it was a "thing" for someone to call a fast food restaurant, pretend to be the police, and convince the mangager on duty that a crew member was suspected of concealing drugs or theft (or some other ruse) and have them strip search the crew member for evidence on behalf of the police as they were too busy to send someone out to the location. happened several times before it became widely known as a scam.2,000 miler

Used to use MDs as a pit stop when taking the Troop to summer Scout camp. Stopped when parents objected, particularly Moms. The following summer I stopped at a rural convenience store. Unfortunately the Mountain Dew rep was selling .50 cent large cans of Dew. The Scouts stocked piled and were buzzed the first 2 days of camp.

I think so. Im not much older than that. they have never asked me my age. I went in one day and ordered coffee and they asked "senior coffee"? So I've been asking for it ever since lol.

not sure. they just call it McCafe coffee. Its good enough for me to buy the K-cups of it at the grocery store.

Well, that was certainly true when I was young. Less so today. Lots of places to get espresso or capuccino or a latte. But my first taste of proper espresso and capuccino was Italy. Back in the early 1970s. Back then American coffee was truly awful. -
Speaking of senior discounts, a friend told me that Donkin Donuts gives seniors a free donut.
I've never tried so I can't be sure. -
