I've been looking all over the Internet for the Montbell ex light down anorak, and besides the Montbell website I cannot find it anywhere! My reason for not buying it off of the Montbell website is because of course in trying to save a few bucks... (Who doesn't like to save money?). So anyways anyone know of a reliable place to buy these from cheap? Or a cheaper jacket equal to this one? I really like the 900 fill and it's less than the mountain harder at ghost whisperer. Also I'm starting an At thru-hike in March so is this 900fill going to be warm enough? Sorry for the loaded thread. Anything helps!

2 ounces heavier and much less money.
The extra light jacket looks like it's disappearing from stores.Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

In cold weather, a fleece under a wind shell seems to be perfect for me when walking to work. I don't wind up walking to work with geese until I'm also adding balaclava, facemask and goggles. (Once or twice a winter, we'll get an Alberta Clipper with -15°F temps and -40° wind chill. For weather like that, the arctic gear is a requirement.)
On the trail, for stops and what not, I carry a Marmot Zeus jacket, from a couple of years ago when they still had 850-fill down in them. If I expect moisture management to be challenging (for instance, if freezing rain impends), I might switch out to a synthetic puffy - I have an REI one that's designed as the liner of their rain/wind hardshell.I'm not lost. I know where I am. I'm right here.
