(Non-AT) Giant Ledge, Panther Mountain 2013-12-29

As I mentioned, yesterday, three guys that I met on the Net and I went for a day trip to Giant Ledge and Panther Mountain in the Catskills. About 6.5 miles, 2000 feet ascent, in a hellacious ice storm. "There is no bad weather, only inappropriate equipment."

With it being non-AT, I'm not sure it''s kosher to put the full trip report on an A-T site, but I figured the guys here might be interested in checking it out. It's over at my blog.

I'm not quite half way through the 35, but now I've got three of the four winter climbs out of the way.

we re primarily an at site,but i dont care if it was on the at, on acid, or snorkeling in the caribbean.theres an underwater snorkeling trail off st croix..to buck island. did it in the 80s when i was married. maybe i'll post the report.no blisters.elevation was benign.below sea level most of the time.

Not the key above the key that has the number 2 on it. The symbol above the number 2 on the same key as the number 2 is on.
