The VMA's were pretty horrible...except for Taylor. Hanna Montana turned into a real a ho.

I was never a Phish fan but I thought Trey did a fine job filling in for Jerry on the reunion tour this summer. He had a huge smile on his face and was obviously enjoying the role. Some reviewer brought up the (slight) resemblance between Trey and Chuck Norris, which made me laugh.

Ummm... That seems a bit more than a kilt.*
For once I'd just like to hear myself say, "Great job, self! Why don't you just take the day off." -

Holy hell their fans are freaks.
I was camping in a swamp one winter as a base camp for a duck hunt. it was a popular thing to do and I wound up inadvertently in the middle of a Phish discussion. During the convo I hear tell of someone "playing" a vacuum cleaner.
Now I never new anything about this "Phish" deal, but I had seen some fool drag a vacuum on stage before so I throw out that when I was in the Navy I went to a bar with this chick in VT (Burlington) and some dude drug a vacuum cleaner up on stage. This was before most of these fools were even born, but Lord God did they flip out. Later the fact that I had gone to a Greatful Dead concert in Saratoga the previous year came out and suddenly I had assumed irreverant status amongst them....
Freaks I tell you, freaks. If your Doctor is a tree, you're on acid. -

One of my favorite Christmas songs is the Pogues 'Fairytale of New York.'
Well Bon Jovi has just released a cover and it is awful. Some things cannot be improved. Here is a link...
