I've been worried about the heat and my next hike so I made some changes to my gear that (hopefully) will significantly affect my pack weight. I've also been running in the heat and not using the air conditioner in my car.
If it's too hot, my back-up plan is to hike in the morning and evening and rest during the day.
Any other ideas?
