Ultralight tents are made of fragile materials. You need to consider that when pulling zips etc. It's like putting your socks on. You need to do it carefully and correctly. If you rush putting socks on you can get blisters. Rush a zip and you can damage something.

Not my photo but I saw one of these today. Quokka. Common on Rottnest Island but quite rare on mainland. Today was only my second ever mainland sighting. I was walking a mile into a Bibbulmun hut to leave some business cards for the Casa about 40 mile from home. Dropped a section hiker off so was there anyway.

PostAnd I think that's cool. By all means carry one but only for emergency use. Therefore it's not likely to be used and resupply shouldn't be an issue. It's like carrying a bandage for splints etc. Not under the heading of consumable.
