PostCoffee. Food is just a fuel. Coffee is life. I've done the Mountain House meals (some right tasty stuff those), summer sausage/cheese/crackers, a few different things slathered on tortillas. Nothing has really jumped out as a frontrunner. Maybe that's just due to my limited time in the woods. However, coffee stands above all else. I could say screw breakfast and just eat some snack stuff while walking, but I WILL take time to boil water and have coffee before I get moving.
