Hiking & Biking
PostI could write a short book about my bike-hikes. Covered lots of the AT in New England that way. Really it comes down to using a bicycle instead of a shuttle. Being unemployed (semi retired??) at the moment, I've been getting lots of bike miles in. Typical daily ride is about 15 miles.

Rococco, you slimy weasel, how did you get in here? You don't have a key? No, only half a key. I had to split it with the sound effects man.

Introduce Yourself
PostHiya boys and girls. First post here, got the word from Coach Lou whom I met (along with his lovely wife) at RPH cabin this last weekend. Seriously old timers on "TOS" know me as terrapin, or maybe terrapin_too. Section hiker (LASHer), 2000 miler, just basically an old phart who likes to hike. Located in western suburbs of Boston. AT is 2.5 hours west or north.
