I took a walk last Saturday and Sunday. I really haven't had time to upload pics on here or write about it though. Saturday I did a short 5 mile out and back on the AT in Warwick. I've posted this before, this past October I attempted to hike the Santanonnis in the Adirondacks. Plan was to hike in, set up camp and next morning summit the three peeks in question. While hiking in, the temps dropped to the teens, and then it snowed. Ive never really "weighed" my gear either. I generally purchase or replace gear that is on the light weight end of the spectrum. I usually pack my bag and give it a lift. I would say my pack weight is comfortable and sufficient

I remember this time sleeping in the Stockbridge shelter in Harriman, and we were surrounded by a coyote... one that sounded just like a crying baby. Oh wait, that was a crying baby.
