    I hiked over Moosilauke in the tail end of a storm with 70 mile gusts. My trekking poles were the only way I was upright enough to move forward. Never so happy to get below treeline and slither down along Bonnie Brook. Going over the Kinsmen after that was enough to decide it wasn't safe to solo hike, so I went home.     My rich brother-in-law flew the family to an event by private jet, no TSA, drive car right to the plane outside hangar, jump in, off we go! They took the car to a parking garage for us. Met at the other end by limo. It was amazing to see how the other half live.

    You will see yellow blazes on Peters mountain in VA where the Allegheny Trail intersects the AT. The Allegheny Trail uses yellow so I got to "yellow blaze" for real when I spent 5 days doing trail maintence this past July!
