Quote from LIhikers: “After all the high quality technical stuff you guys post I'm almost afraid to ask a simple question about fuel. We know that it's common for Hikers to use Heet in the yellow bottle as fuel for their alcohol stoves. I see that 7-11 now has a gas line antifreeze in a yellow bottle and I'm wondering if it would work as fuel too. Just thought of this driving home from work last night, after getting a cup of coffee at 7-11. Anybody know?” The most accurate way of answering this …

I just noticed that the calculator gives the weight of 15ml of HEET. I weighed the fuel instead of measuring it and came up with these results. They are likely useless as all my other tests were measured. I do not know which is accurate if any. appalachiantrailcafe.net/index…f32d189ed6b2f41eecf5e5d85

Quote from jimmyjam: “What does that little stove weigh ?” I don't know. The taller version weighed 11 grams. The coke bottle is thicker than V8 cans. Iam guessing this will be around 9 grams.
