    I got in a nice ride today of 16.67 miles. It was a little chilly, but not too bad. Traffic seemed light for a Saturday which was nice. Even manage a coffee break at a Dunkin Donuts, coffee is always a plus.

    Aug 20, 2023: My Last Day of hiking: The smoke is growing worse. Helicopter are doing water drops somewhere on the other side of the steep ridge where I am walking. Lots of dead wood all around. I am out of here.
