    My Companion agrees with Wiki. ETA: And so does my Data Book and the ATC Trail Guide to NC and Tenn. So the correct answer to the question should be "None of the Above"

    Being from South FL and living in TX, AR, Brazil, Singapore, and China the heat has never been the issue for me. But if it is, perhaps start at Springer and walk to Harpers Ferry.
