So what wildlife sightings have you had today?
Today I had my best ever coyote sighting. He ran across the road in front of me while I was driving to work. At first he was far enough away that I couldn't tell what it was. But as I go closer it was clear that it was a coyote. He ran about 50 yards or less into a bare farm field so there was no trees or brush to obscure the view. He stopped, turned sideways, stood perfectly still and looked right at me as I drove by. I only see coyotes about once a decade and then usually only from a distance while they are moving. This was the first time I ever got a good up-close look.
