Since when is that popular? I'm the only non-Australian I know that uses that phrase.
We'll have to wait for Jacko to weigh in on this one.

I'm pretty sure Jacko puts the "Mate" on the end..............too many times it comes after I have caught someone doing a half-assed job at something and I've just expressed displeasure at that laziness. And my American generation does not use that termCheesecake> Ramen -

the phrase "going forward" so much it's nauseous.
Whenever I hear or read this term (along with 'moving on') I'm left with the thought "What's he/she attempting to hide?"
My nomination is "Whatever".
It's dismissive to the core and once uttered creates a climate of dominance.

I am so tired of hearing the word "system."
It's as though people believe that if they use more words it'll make the sound more knowledgeable about a topic. It has crept into the shooting sports with every tacticool jackass refering to their damn rifle as a system and now the word is bandied about by hikers...
For some reason its not cool to have just a stove or a cook pot, it has now got to be a stove system. And sleep systems? Damn it its a $×@&ing sleeping bag. Nope cant just say clothing its gotta be a clothing system... before you know it the tacticool wanna be hikers will be talking about their excrement deposit systems.Of course I talk to myself... sometimes I need expert advice. -

How about "price point" and "skill set?" What the heck do those phrases mean? I know, it means that someone took the words price and skill and added an extra word to the end of them for no reason.
In the office we refer to this sort of thing as "consultant speak" which is just another way of saying it's bullsh*t business jargon.Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them. -

Price point I have no clue but skill set I have seen a lot in the trades. If you do carpentry it can vary from a framer to a craftsman wood worker. I've seen electricians that can bend EMT & conduit in multiple turns on commercial sites & can't snake a wire up a finished wall. I went from residential to commercial with oil burners. Skill set at 1 GPH differed from 35GPH & above. -

Perhaps this one is little used. "Rebadged". As in "The Company is cutting cost and YOUR JOB is being rebadged"
Also, means switched to the lowest, most incompetent, off-shore bidder.....
My entire group (around 140 of us) got it this past June. At least we are still employed (so far).
Just saying, the price points must drive the synergy forward while reaching cross-platform with same-store sales driving the upside for the downside positions.
