2 cup titanium pot (this is my cup)

This is my core, solo kit. if going with more I add as needed depending on menue & will be more creative cooking. Pot scrapper is something many hikers skip but i want to get every last bit of food I had to carry & eat it. I'll cook & eat out of larger pot when hiking solo.

I try my best to keep my cook kit simple, and it now is made up of these items --

12cm Imusa pot w/ diy lid -- I cook and eat out of this pot.

12 fl oz capacity plastic cup -- it also doubles as a measuring cup

Folding spoon and fork

Alcohol stove, wind screen, lighter (or matches), used pint capacity vinegar bottle for fuel

DIY pot cozy

Our 3 season kit includes the following:
Long handled lexan spoon
K-Mart Grease Pot
Home made cozy to fit the above pot
Then packed inside the pot are
1 alcohol stove
2 wind screen
3 a bic lighter
4 a fire steel
5 a small sponge
6 pot lifter

In cold weather the alcohol stove gets replaced by a white gas stove and a cup is added for hot drinks.

I have several different cook sets, which one I carry depends on mood and temps. I've learned not to rely on an alcohol stove if it's cold (because I've had too many mishaps and I don't want to fool with it if I'm really cold).

The basic kit is a mug and spoon, sometimes a retractable spoon, sometimes a cheap, plastic, fast food spoon. I use my small leatherman knife if I need to cut sausage.

My kitchen consists of a 24 oz Foster beer can pot, a stove made from the bottom 1-1/2" of a hair spray can and a spoon.

If you're in a mellow mood and don't mind taking it slow, the alchy stove is perfect. If you're wanting fast and furious, a Jetboil or Pocket Rocket is the way to go.

ive got one too.

I use my long-handle ti spoon to do this. Scrap down, add water, swish around, drink, then wipe out pot. Tis the main reason I don't carry a spork.

Oh well, damn! Maybe I'll have a big enough REI dividend to pay for one ...

I headed out for first time on the AT on my birthday. I had a snow peak ti cup packed, but the day before I left, I got a Kupilka 21 from my son. At 3 ozs, it ain't ultralight, but it isn't bad. It has a rounded bottom perfect for mixing stuff (like peanut butter and granola). I'm in a near-constant tweaking of my pack, but it's been in it every step since.
