When I was young the city had a dump outside of town, we'd each get a box of 50 .22's and see who could kill the most rats, you had to kill a lot more than 50 to win, had to catch them in a line and get more than one per shot, these rats were huge, looked like young possums, every one in a while one would run up your leg...a real adrenaline rush there.I may grow old but I'll never grow up.

Just yesterday I decided it was time to start looking for vlogging 2018 thru hikers on YouTube. I've found a few who seem promising, etc. So far this guy is my favorite. Absolutely entertaining, unapologetic, a total noob hiking his own hike.

lol, he talks alot about getting a late start so i guess that's why he made it to the hawk mountain shelter after dark via headlamp. that's where i ate lunch the first day and i'm just an average hiker.2,000 miler -

No, not trolling at all. I'm genuinely enjoying this guy's videos. I hope he makes it all the way, if for no other reason than to piss off the purists and naysayers. Dude's a lot of fun.

Wheezi was reminiscent of my condition last weekend. After spending several weeks at sea level, I was wheezing when hiking at 4-5k feet in southern Utah.

I’d add ‘after shave’ pored through a loaf of white bread as a rock bottom looserville drink, oh, and beer seems to be the gateway drink according to the study...but I think it’s probably vodka as a kids first nip from the cabinet...in a plastic jug o’coarse.
