Burger King sells an Impossible Southwest Bacon Whopper. That's a plant based "burger" with bacon from a pig. I don't think they understand...

As my body and my mirror keeps reminding me everyday, I am getting old. But today I received one of the benefits of it. I finally became a grandfather today!

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them. -

I was feeling nostalgic so I went and logged into Whiteblaze. I think this site might have a higher daily post count these days...Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

I can't remember the last time I went to Whiteblaze.
There's too many people there. It's not that I don't like people, it's just that with higher numbers of them you get the full mix of humanity and seemingly less civility. I really enjoy the smaller group here at the Café ! -

I browse WB once or twice a day. My bookmark is to "Show Unread Topics". I read what interest me. Occasionally even leave a comment. Then "Mark all as Read" and exit.

I go to TOS if a search engine finds something interesting there. I do not remember a password or even a username there.

The scariest thing about whiteblaze are the users ages listed on the side of most comments. I started lurking there in 2009 and watching all those age number tick upwards over the years is bothersome.Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

I bet I'm still considered a "member".
Oh, and posts counts.....that's another fun one. With the software that other forum used (not hiking related), you could update posts count! We had some pissing match with people posting one word replies, just to up their post counts for bragging rights. We'd warn them to quit it. Set my own to 1,985,091 posts.....Then set their to zero if they don't stop posting "Kewl" and "info please" and "right" responses.Pirating – Corporate Takeover without the paperwork -

I allegedly have nearly 7,000 posts over on WB, though I bet you that almost half of them are either in the old Cafe or arguing with idiots in the dog forum.Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.
