I'm makin good use of my night by watching the classics
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them. -
Talked to a 24 yr old today about horror movies. I told her my idea of a scary movie was Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window or the Birds. She had no idea who I was talking about.Lost in the right direction.

I'll probably try doing without TV for a while and see how it goes, never watch anything anyway, just operate the remote continually. I couldn't find a phone number or email for customer service on the Dish web site so I sent an email to their CEO asking for service to be stopped asap. Dish had one of the best commercials I've seen where the lady's "Bill" got ugly, they dropped that commercial and gave me a 30% increase with crappier offering. I asked nicely....but really wanted to tell him to take my 60" TV and shove it up his........I may grow old but I'll never grow up.

First horror movies i saw were the B&W Dracula and Frankenstein. Much scarier than the bloodsport ones.--

when I was in college, they would show free classic films every Wed at 10 pm. I almost never missed. Saw all the old horror films and more. Great education.

of the Eastwood spaghetti westerns I like For a Few Dollars More.
Also, a couple of weekends ago we saw the stage play version of A Philadelphia Story at our local theater. This was on Broadway about a year before the movie adaptation was made. It was interesting to see on stage a variation of a movie I've seen dozens of times. It made me appreciate even more how good Hepburn, Stewart, and Grant were. -

Just as i finished lunch in Oxford there was a police chase of a guy running from them. He tried to run over the officers and they had to shoot him. I was about 3 restaurants away. Probably no more than one thousand feet. I am fine. The guy also shot at the police. Only he was killed. No injuries to anyone.--
