Porsche.
Correct pronunciation has 2 syllables.
Same guy (Dr Ferdinand Porsche) designed and built the VW Beetle.
Over rated Porches I believe. They are very different handling from most cars with rear engine rear wheel drive configuration.
I'd rather have a F150 with a long tray.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait. -

Yesterday morning I took my Subaru in to have the USB port replaced. When I was leaving, the service guy said, "You'll get a survey. Remember that a score of 10 is the only passing score". I had to sign a paper too that said the same thing. Hmmmm....Lost in the right direction.

Thats what I was told at my last car repair... they kept changing the day i could pick up my car. Which caused my car rental fee to keep climbing. So I gave them a 7. The receptionist got upset. And I said that they came close to getting a zero as I'm having to pay out most of a paycheck for the car rental. They hung up.--

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them. -

I just bought five tickets. Don't know what I would do with all that money if I won, nobody needs that much money. I think once it hits say 20 mil they should just keep drawing numbers until they have a winner."Dazed and Confused"

The most I spent in one year on one Lotto was $20. More typically I have spent 1-2 dollars per year. Thing is, now if you buy a Powerball with the options, its 4-5 dollars per ticket.
We still haven't gone this year to buy one.--

My lotto has about 10% of the gross money go to charities and non profit organizations. It's state run and while there are a couple of overpaid bureaucrats in the mix it isn't a private enterprise. Not true in the other states but at least it is here. Each state has it's own organization but they link for some national ones. We have 5 different national lottoes a week.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait.

I live in Alabama where Jesus don't like the lottery, so I gotta head to the Florida state line to play. My closest friend and I (and sometimes her husband when we can lure him out of the woods) go once a month, buy a months worth of tickets and have lunch at our fav Mexican joint. Not likely to win but who cares, the company and food are good.
