This is a couple days old, but since we're talking about paddling...
A man just set a new Guinness World Record by paddling a hollowed out 846 pound pumpkin (obviously pre hollowed out weight) 38 miles down the Missouri River, breaking the existing record of 25 miles set in 2018.

Replaced by new bridges? Or did they give up and decide maintenance was not justified?The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.
