67, light winds, a bit sticky at 60 percent humidity. Going to be a SPECTACULAR weekend!
I am going on a pretty intense 7 mile fast hike tomorrow and the weather will be about as good as I could hope for!
1000 steps.....yikes....

1076 stairs. Something interesting about the arch....it's height is the exact distance between it's legs....Rasty wrote:

Just checked Hanover, NH and it is 75. I am sure it will be even cooler in the Whites.

I noticed on national weather yesterday, was interesting that the high in San Fransisco was 73 but just north and south of it was like 110...Palm Springs 122.

Getting rain bands from TS Cindy. predicted 6 to 10 in rain today. Already got 4 in. Latest tornado warning just cancelled but expect more tonight. Flash flood warning til tomorrow. Local tv weathermen are all in a tizzy, Jim Cantore to arrive shortly to restore order.
My first weather report, might be my last. If you don't live here why would you care?
I need to figure out how to kill weather warnings on my cell phone.

Go to RINGTONES AND SOUNDS
Go to EMERGENCY TONE
Touch "SILENT"
This disables ALL emergency tone alerts for Amber, Silver, and Weather.
If it is a weather app, like WeatherChannel, go back into SOUNDS AND NOTIFICATIONS and select APP NOTIFICATIONS then select WeatherChannel and manually turn on BLOCK NOTIFICATIONS.
HTH. YMMV depending on phone mfr and platform(IOS v. Android)
PS, you may have to get into your actual messaging app to disable alerts/alarms....just sayin....

- Open your Messaging app.
- Tap the Menu button on the bottom right of your screen.
- Tap Settings and scroll down.
- Tap Emergency Alerts.
- Uncheck AMBER alerts. In this same menu you can disable severe weather alerts too.
