Funny a temperature you find warm enough to ride your bike, I find too cold to walk. Of course probably reversed for 90s. All a matter of perspective.

Yep, I don't handle the heat well. I've been to the hospital emergency room twice, over the years, for heat stroke.
Tip -- don't plan on hiking GA in August.2,000 miler -

It has been a disappointing winter here. Finally have some ice on the pond, but not thick enough to stand on. No snow to speak of. My daughter who is on Camel Hump in Vermont says they have feet upon feet of snow, whatever that means. Very much want to go visit her, but Vermont won't have me.“Of all sad words of tongue or pen,

No snow here yet this winter, other than non sticking flurries.
But seen more than I would like of the weather in teens and 20s. Considering hitting Ozark Highland Trail Friday afternoon and coming back Saturday night. Forecast for Friday night is in the twenties, but Saturday dips down into the teens. With high of 40 on Saturday I am sure those creek crossings are going to be cold, but I still want to get there for at least a little bit.The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I'll be going to work a couple hours early to deal with the snow there. -
10am on the Connecticut coast and we have 2". The roads are very slick. Most folks are home. Alot of plows and Subarus out on the road. I will be going home at noon, when it is supposed to get really nasty. I only came in to take the cancelation calls from the 3 customers that I had scheduled.Cheesecake> Ramen

We're having some serious winter. I can't tell how much snow has fallen because the winds, which are gusting to 50mph is having a big effect on depth. There might be a 2 foot high. drift right next to bare ground. The falling snow and high wind is causing white out conditions, making driving difficult.

We should organize a Groundhog Day climb of Mt Washington:
- Temperature: 14°F
- Gust: 94 mph
- Wind: 77 mph
- Wind Chill: -15°
- Visibility: 0
- Weather: Snow, Freezing Fog, Blowing Snow
- Temperature: 14°F

That would be a lot of effort for no view at the top. - Temperature: 14°F
