thinking about the osprey exos48.
I love osprey. I am not loving the fact that everyone is buying lighter packs than mine. No fair.
i downsized a few years ago from the atmos 65 to the atmos 50, but the side water bottle holsters suck. the exos is 1/2 lb lighter, and the pockets are accessible.
I used a couple of bungies on each shoulder strap to hold a couple of 20 oz Gatorade bottles to my shoulder straps. I use the side pouches for other things. They worked pretty well. I think having some weight on the front helps balance the load. -

Replace the oatmeal with Bud and they'll never notice you're flashing.I may grow old but I'll never grow up. -

Huh? Why ruin perfectly good oatmeal?Lost in the right direction. -
Hopefully no new pack in my future. I picked up an Arc Blast in the spring. Great pack and super light. .. Someone mentioned getting this pack with load lifters. I ordered mine this way. Let me say that they are not needed. Plus they are attached in the wrong spot. If they were attached to the cross bar, they might work, but not where they are attached now. Joe even tried to talk me out of them, but I didnt listen. I'll be cutting mine off today, if I remember to get it out. The other options I ordered were the hands free pole holders and the lumbar pad. Which reminds me, I want to order another pad to double up. ... I love the water bottle pockets on this bag. HUGE. One side carries a water bottle, sawyer mini still attached, and snacks. The other side has two empty water bottles, TP, first aid,

A man has to eat something. Anyway, I would probably store it in plastic bags so it would not be ruined. The naked part came to me in a flash of inspiration as I was thinking about hiking with a rain coat instead of a pack.I am human and I need to be loved - just like everybody else does -

Wish I could see the pack you're raving about.
I get a video on shoes and the only pack video in the other links on the page aren't Osprey.

Got it by searching on pc.
Like it.
Can't justify it.
Didn't see a weight for it and I gather the price they were saying might be British pounds. That would be fairly steep.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait. -

Does anyone have the Circuit in camo? I can't find any good pics.
If you send ULA an E-mail, they will send you swatches of the fabric you are interested in.
I did. He didn't offer to send me any swatches. He told me what was available and that they can't do any custom orders until September. I'm considering the Multi Cam but I'd really like to see a pack made with it.
Hey TJ, not a circuit but here is a pic of my Ohm in the digicam. I placed it in the Gallery under "Gear" hope this helps you, it's a good looking pack. -

I had to do some sewing repairs to my SMD Starlite this weekend. My next pack will either be a MYOG or a MLD Exodus or GG Mariposa. I am leaning to the Exodus, it's similar to the discontinued Starlite and I like simple uncomplicated packs without brains."Dazed and Confused"

was looking at the ultralight packs in this thread and got curious. My pack weighs in at at a whopping 86oz. Largest load I carried started off at around 70lbs. The pack held up, but I was exhausted. So if I ever retire the external frame, I'll probably look into something a little lighter...
just noticed, my pack is in the back of my profile picture.

When you get a chance you might want to invest in a lighter pack. Buying lighter gear is like the gift that keeps on giving. You appreciate it every time you put it on your back and start walking. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

I met a hiker with a Mchale pack. The fitting process sounded really extensive. She was a true gear junkie.

Tangent, if you make it to the lakeshore hike I'll let you try out the arc blast for a few miles. It weights 16oz and rides like an external, which it is. I've tried different packs but always went back to my external. This pack was the perfect upgrade and when I wear it out I'll get another. -
My next one might be something like a ULA Catalyst. I think I foresee a bear canister in my future at some point, and the Circuit and Ohm aren't built to accommodate those.I'm not lost. I know where I am. I'm right here.
