LOL.
True story - I hike with m&m's as my trail mix.
There's a mix of colours!
I sometimes take cashews too, but in a separate bag.
I always say that those power bars all taste like reconstituted straw. Never take any.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait. -

Seriously though I like to make my own: mm's, craisens, almonds, peanuts, coconut, sunflower seeds. I keep forgetting to bring the bourbon, the last three sections I have forgotten it. I'm putting my plastic 1/2 pint bottle in my to go box so that doesn't happen anymore."Dazed and Confused"

I've felt like it, but it's too far. Time before last I walked into the wayside at Big Meadows and they had these little paper cartons of wine, sort of like a quart of milk but a little smaller. I thought score!!! Light and I can burn the carton after I drink the wine and off I went happy as can be."Dazed and Confused"

What I did was almost embarrassing. I humped a pint of vodka and for the first time in a long time I was so happy I didn't need it - and plum forgot to share, and the topper ... well I wasn't sure how it would be previewed if I did share it with the group.Be wise enough to walk away from the nonsense around you! -

Do they call it cameling because of you do it, you don't have to hump as much water?I'm not lost. I know where I am. I'm right here. -
If men would lay off the alcohol and stay hydrated, they might perform better. Maybe that is the secret of the incestuous old bear in danger of loosing two of his attachments.I am human and I need to be loved - just like everybody else does

I'm with you. I used to bring my flask, until it occurred to me that more often than not I was bringing it home unopened. I like my whisky, but find that I just don't feel like it on the trail.I'm not lost. I know where I am. I'm right here. -

Nothing wrong with a natural high. That is probably part of what got most of us into hiking and backpacking to start with. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.
